Lumby & District Volunteer Fire Department
The Lumby & District Fire Department is now accepting applications for regular membership.
Applicants are required to:
- live within the Lumby Fire Protection District
- have a criminal record check
- present a driver's abstract
- be able to pass the recruit fire fighter program
Men and women over the age of 19 are welcome to apply.
Practices are held every Tuesday night from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. The Fire Department responds to 60-80 calls per year.
Become a part of the community by stopping in at the Fire Hall any Tuesday night to pick up an application, or call 250-547-9516.
