The moment you enter Lumby you get a very strong sense of community, a place where the pace is easy and life is good.

A relaxing stroll through downtown will reveal recently renewed sidewalks and elegant Victorian street lamps to gently light your way. Norris Park is nestled in the heart of the downtown area, with sweeping willows and wonderful flowers lining the path creates a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the evening as the sun sinks down behind the hills.

The northern Okanagan is a very unique place to live and we're committed to making it even better in Lumby. With more opportunities than ever, Lumby is a diverse and fun place to be.

Lumby is within the Interior Health Authority, with full hospital services in Vernon and Kelowna. Under the services of the Interior Health Authority, Lumby has a Public Health Nurse, who works from the Lumby Medical Clinic.

The Lumby Medical Clinic offers general practitioner services on a daily basis. Lumby Medical Clinic offers x-rays and blood tests to better serve the community and area.

The BC Ambulance Service services the Village and Area, directly out of Lumby.

Whitevalley Community Resource Centre provides services and support for seniors, families and individuals faced with mental health, addiction concerns and other social services.

Other health services available in Lumby are, a dental clinic, pharmacy, chiropractic and massage therapy clinics as well as complex care facility.

Residential Land:

The Village of Lumby is not in the land development industry. There are approximately 50 serviced lots available in the municipality. The house price for a three-bedroom dwelling ranges from $260,000 to $425,000. It is suggested that interested parties contact a local real estate firm or agent.

Commercial / Industrial Land:

The Village of Lumby promotes the development of commercial and industrial enterprises. Within Lumby commercial and industrial lands are available. These lands are either listed through the real estate companies or owners. The Village of Lumby would be pleased to assist interested parties with their inquires. Currently the Village of Lumby, as a participant in the Regional District of North Okanagan, is undertaking a regional employment lands action plan. This plan is based on collaboration and partnerships that establish realistic and achievable actions that can be implemented in the short to medium term (0-5 years) that will expand the available employment land supply in the North Okanagan.
