Adventure awaits...

With a huge provincial park filled with hiking trails and six lakes all easily accessible within half a day your desires for a fun and exciting outdoor experience can easily be fulfilled.

Monashee Provincial Park
One of the most spectacular places in British Columbia is only a short drive from Lumby. Monashee Provincial Park is filled with old growth forests and lush alpine meadows. The park is an amazing place for both experienced outdoorsmen and budding backpackers. The only access to the park is by foot, a group can take a day and explore Spectrum Lake which is a short hour-and-a-half hike from the parking lot or they can really get their "gaitors wet" and take on the six hour hike up to Peters Lake to see what the park truly has to offer with crisp, clean alpine air and awe inspiring mountain peaks, the highest in the park being Mount. Fosthall.
