Hours of Operation:
The Municipal office is open to the public from 9:00 a.m - 4:00 p.m but answering the phones from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. The office is closed for lunch from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m, and closed statutory holidays. During COVID-19 the office is limited to 2 client groups at a time, so please be respectful of any lineups you may encounter. For municipal office updates click here.

Incorporated in 1955, the Village of Lumby is a municipality governed under the provisions of the Local Government Act. The population is represented by a Mayor and four Councillors, all elected for a four year term. The Council serves a population of over 1,900 residents within the corporate boundaries of the Village. Lumby is the service center for a rural population of approximately 5,000 persons living in the Regional District of North Okanagan.
